The CEO of the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission, Dr. Mohammed Hasan Alwan, met in Riyadh with Angola's Ambassador to the Kingdom, Frederico Cardoso, and discussed strengthening partnerships and opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the cultural fields.

The meeting also touched on the commission’s plans to consolidate international cultural relations and the approach between civilizations and literature, especially since these dialogues aim to explore the cultural depth of nations.

Dr. Alwan highlighted several commission's programs and initiatives, through which it seeks to exchange experiences with other civilizations, expressing his desire to use them to cooperate with Angolan intellectuals, writers, and thinkers, including the "Writing Retreats" program, which provides an environment that stimulates local and international writers, in addition to book fairs in Saudi Arabia and its various cultural programs like the Writers and Readers Festival, the International Philosophy Conference, and the "Tarjim" initiative.

Ambassador Cardoso expressed his country's readiness to accelerate communication between the cultural institutions of the two countries, to create a knowledgeable future that identifies with the sublime messages of culture.
