CEO of SFDA Engages with Chinese Firms to Explore Saudi Investment Prospects.

Beijing: The Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, has met with several companies in the food, pharmaceutical, and medical product industries. Saudi Ambassador to China Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, Vice President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products (CCCMHPIE) Wang Maochun, and Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Li Xiangying attended the meeting.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Aljadhey provided an overview of the SFDA’s regulatory activities during the meeting. He discussed investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia and the registration processes for companies interested in entering the Saudi market. He emphasized the Kingdom’s commitment to ensuring food and medicine safety for all citizens and residents.

The SFDA organized the roundtable meeting in collaboration with the Saudi Commercial Attaché in Beijing, CCCMHPIE, and CCPIT. It highlighted the importance
of collaboration between Saudi Arabia and China in fostering partnerships.
