Contestants Arrive in Makkah for 46th King Abdulaziz International Quran Competition

Makkah: All 334 participants from 133 countries have arrived in Makkah for the 46th King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorizing, Reciting and Interpreting the Holy Quran, held under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.

According to Saudi Press Agency, participants expressed appreciation for the Kingdom's warm hospitality and organization. Evaluated by senior international judges using an electronic system for accuracy, contestants are competing for total prizes exceeding SAR10 million.
