Riyadh: The General Presidency of the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (CPVPV) has broadened its outreach services for the Hajj season of 1447 AH. This year, their services encompass several land border crossings and key cities for pilgrims throughout the Kingdom, aligning with their responsibilities, strategic plans, and ongoing programs.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the CPVPV has established field awareness points and centers at these border crossings. These are part of a network of 65 centers and field points distributed across nine regions, specifically designed to assist pilgrims as they enter the Kingdom.
To enhance their initiatives at border crossings, the presidency has deployed nearly 900 trained personnel. This includes the provision of translators proficient in various international languages and sign language, ensuring non-Arabic-speaking pilgrims receive the necessary support and information.
