According to Saudi Press Agency, the region's home-grown industries encompass traditional cuisine, custom spice blends, perfumes, incense, candle making, pottery painting, and artisanal handicrafts, combining ancestral knowledge with contemporary presentation and modern packaging standards.

To support this transition, the Social Development Bank provides development programs and financing solutions to families working in the cottage industry and entrepreneurs, enabling skilled women to scale their operations, enhance product quality, and establish sustainable income sources.

Participation in regional markets and seasonal events has played a pivotal role in expanding consumer outreach. Chef Munifa Al-Anzi highlighted that public events offer essential platforms to showcase traditional culinary heritage, while perfumer Haya Al-Hazani emphasized that direct consumer interaction helps refine product quality, branding, and competitiveness.
