Riyadh: Weather alerts have been issued for several regions in Saudi Arabia, forecasting dust-stirring winds and rain. According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has predicted that moderate to heavy rain accompanied by hail may fall in parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Hail, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Borders.
Gusty winds are also expected to affect areas in Najran, Makkah, Madinah, Qassim, and the Eastern Region. Fog formation is anticipated during the night and early morning hours in these regions, as well as in parts of the Riyadh region.
Winds over the Red Sea are predicted to be northerly to northwesterly at speeds of 15-40 km/h in the northern and central parts, shifting to southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds of 10-60 km/h in the southern part. Waves may vary from one to more than two meters, with the sea condition ranging from calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast indicates northerly to northwesterly winds, reaching speeds of 10-30 km/h. Waves are expected to
range from half a meter to a meter, maintaining a relatively calm sea state.
