Jeddah: The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture won two certificates of excellence at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Prizes 2026, organized by the International Telecommunication Union, during the WSIS Forum in Geneva, Switzerland. According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry received the certificates in recognition of its innovative digital initiatives, after two of its projects were shortlisted among the award's finalists. The initiatives leveraged modern technologies to develop services, enhance operational efficiency, and promote sustainability across the environment, water, and agriculture sectors. The achievement underscores the ministry's continued efforts to develop innovative digital solutions based on international best practices. These efforts contribute to improving service quality, enhancing institutional performance, and reinforcing the Kingdom's digital leadership on the global stage.
