Estidama and Saudi Desert Control Forge Partnership to Advance Sustainable Agriculture

RIYADH: The National Center for Sustainable Agriculture Research and Development, known as Estidama, has entered into an agreement with Saudi Desert Control Company to advance sustainable agriculture and environmental sustainability in Saudi Arabia. This collaboration was announced during the 16th Conference of the Parties (COP16) of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the agreement seeks to bolster sustainable agricultural practices that mitigate desertification and enhance food security, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. A key component of the partnership is the implementation of Liquid Natural Clay (LNC) technology, designed to rehabilitate degraded soils, optimize water usage, and increase agricultural productivity.

The partnership underscores Estidama’s commitment to fostering innovation in sustainable agriculture, emphasizing the importance of applied research and the development of novel solutions to tackle environmental c
