Field Training Program for Scout Units in Mina Enhances Readiness to Serve Pilgrims

Makkah: A services center in the Jamarat area affiliated with the Holy Makkah Municipality organized a field training program yesterday for supporting scout units of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association as part of preparations for this year's Hajj season. The initiative aimed to enhance the readiness of participating units and improve the efficiency of services provided to pilgrims at the holy sites.

According to Saudi Press Agency, participants reviewed fieldwork mechanisms and the roles of scout units in supporting the municipality's work in Mina, including guiding pilgrims to designated locations and routes, as well as supporting organizational and service efforts. A live field exercise was also conducted in Mina to simulate a number of fieldwork scenarios, develop rapid response skills, and strengthen coordination between scout units and field entities.

The initiative comes as part of preparations carried out by government and service entities in Makkah to enhance fieldwork efficiency and enable scout personnel to carry out their volunteer and organizational duties during the Hajj season.
