Foreign Ministry announces signing of visa exemption agreement between Iraq and Indonesia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, today, Monday, the signing of a visa exemption agreement between Iraq and Indonesia.

A statement by the Ministry stated that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein and Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi signed, today, Monday, an agreement to exempt holders of diplomatic and service passports from entry visas to both countries.

The agreement aims, according to the statement, to strengthen friendly relations and develop diplomatic cooperation between the two countries, based on the principle of reciprocity.

During the meeting, according to the statement, they discussed ways to facilitate the entry of citizens of Iraq and Indonesia into the two friendly countries.
