GCA President Engages with Kyrgyz Accounts Chamber Chairman on Cooperative Initiatives.

Riyadh: President of the General Court of Audit (GCA) Dr. Hussam Alangari met with Kyrgyz Republic Chamber of Accounts Chairman Akmatov Sharshembievich and his accompanying delegation today. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest and explored avenues for further cooperation in various sectors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this visit aligns with the memorandum of understanding signed in May by GCA and the Chamber of Accounts of the Kyrgyz Republic. The agreement aims to foster cooperation in the field of accounting, auditing, and professional development. The partnership operates within the framework of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions and Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions, of which both supreme audit institutions are members.

Alangari stated that the visit is an opportunity to strengthen collaboration and transfer of knowledge between the two entities. He highlighted the shared goals of enhancing performance efficiency and developing human
resources of both organizations.

Sharshembievich expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality extended to him and his delegation. He underscored his commitment to expanding the existing partnership.

The visiting delegation was briefed about GCA’s expertise in financial and performance auditing.
