Baku: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi met with Ayub Ismail Yusuf, Minister of Public Works, Reconstruction and Housing of the Federal Republic of Somalia and Member of Parliament, on the sidelines of the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku. The meeting focused on enhancing relations between the GCC and Somalia, with discussions centering on urban development, housing, and infrastructure.

According to Saudi Press Agency, both parties exchanged views on topics of common interest, emphasizing cooperation in the mentioned fields. Albudaiwi expressed the GCC's commitment to supporting Somalia in areas that would strengthen its security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
