GCC Secretary-General and Uzbekistan Foreign Minister Discuss Strategic Relations

Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, at the General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing the strategic relations between the GCC and Central Asian states. Both parties expressed anticipation for the upcoming second joint summit. Discussions were held on strengthening GCC-Uzbekistan relations and enhancing investment and economic cooperation.

They also exchanged views on international and regional issues, particularly developments related to Iran and their implications for regional security. The meeting underscored the importance of intensifying joint efforts to enhance stability both regionally and globally.
