Global Health Exhibition Concludes with Record-Breaking Deals, Investments

The Global Health Exhibition, held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center under the theme “Invest in Health,” concluded its activities yesterday in a closing ceremony, during which Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Development Abdulaziz Al-Rumaih announced record-breaking deals, emphasizing the robustness of the healthcare sector in Saudi Arabia.

He noted that the volume of deals and investments exceeded SAR50 billion, with over 105,000 attendees at the event, marking a 72% increase in the number of international visitors arriving on 13,500 flights. The exhibition also featured 505 speakers, 1,000 investors, and 1,240 brands.

Several significant agreements and partnerships were forged during the exhibition, including a collaboration between the Council of Health Insurance and Alfaisal University, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Imam Abdulrahman Al-Faisal University and the Saudi National Institute of Health, and an MoU between the Ministry of Health and Pfizer. An agreement was
also reached between the Health Holding Company and Huawei and another between the Council of Health Insurance and Johns Hopkins Center.

The exhibition offered over 100 hours of medical education for health practitioners, six specialized workshops, a masterclass in genetics and PCR, and discussions on health systems.
