Governor of the Northern Borders region Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz yesterday inaugurated the Northern Borders Forests project, a significant step toward environmental sustainability and biodiversity preservation.

Aligned with the Saudi Green Initiative, the project was launched on the occasion of Arab Environment Day, observed on October 14, to demonstrate the government’s commitment to achieving the ambitious goals of Vision 2030.

Prince Faisal emphasized the project’s role in preserving the environment and natural resources for future generations. He highlighted the careful selection of forest sites to ensure the project’s long-term success and sustainability.
