Gusty Winds and Heavy Rain Expected in Various Saudi Regions

Jazan: Gusty winds and moderate to heavy rain, accompanied by hail, are anticipated in parts of the Jazan and Aseer regions on Saturday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted that the highlands of Al-Baha and Makkah regions might experience light to moderate rain.

Temperatures are expected to rise in the Eastern and Riyadh regions, with gusty winds and possible rain in the southern areas of these regions, as well as in parts of the Najran Region. Dust-stirring winds are predicted to blow across the Makkah, Madinah, and Hail regions.

Winds over the Red Sea are forecasted to be northwesterly to westerly, with speeds ranging from 15 to 50 km/h. Sea conditions will vary from calm to choppy, with waves reaching heights from half a meter to over two meters.

In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will shift from northwesterly to southwesterly during the day, transitioning to southerly to southeasterly over the northern part by evening, and southeasterly to northeasterly over the central and southern parts. Wind speeds will range from 10 to 50 km/h, with the sea expected to be calm to choppy, and waves reaching similar heights as those in the Red Sea.
