Mina: On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received well-wishers at the Royal Court in Mina Palace on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. The event saw the attendance of princes, the grand mufti of Saudi Arabia, senior scholars, sheikhs, officials from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, ministers, and commanders of military sectors and scouts participating in this year's Hajj.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the reception commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman delivered a speech in which he extended his congratulations to citizens, residents, and pilgrims on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. He expressed gratitude for the honor bestowed upon Saudi Arabia to care for the two holy mosques and serve the visitors. The Crown Prince acknowledged the efforts of the military, security sectors, government employees, and volunteers in ensuring the safety and security of pilgrims, emphasizing their role in defending Saudi Arabia's security and sovereignty.
Following the royal address, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Bassami, Director of Public Security and Chairman of the Hajj Security Committee, spoke on behalf of the military sectors. He highlighted Saudi Arabia's commitment to serving the two holy mosques, affirming that the Kingdom continues this mission with determination and vision. He also noted the success of the Hajj security plans under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the support of HRH the Crown Prince, which have improved the quality of Hajj's security and service plans.
HRH the Crown Prince concluded the event by greeting attendees and joining them for a banquet.
