Human Resources Ministry Wins Two WSIS 2026 Excellence Awards

Riyadh: The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development achieved a global milestone after its Ajeer Platform and Smart Labor Market Oversight Model received Excellence Awards at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) 2026 Prizes, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the two projects received the awards after advancing through the international evaluation and voting process. They competed against approximately 1,500 projects from 100 countries, with 360 projects qualifying for the international voting stage.

The Ajeer Platform won in the E-employment category. As a national platform, it provides flexible solutions for employers and facilitates businesses' access to the Saudi labor market by offering temporary and seasonal work permits through digital procedures that enhance labor market flexibility.

The Smart Labor Market Oversight Model won in the Ethical Dimensions of the Information Society category for its use of artificial intelligence to analyze data and monitor compliance indicators, improving operational efficiency and enhancing the targeting of inspection visits. The model has helped reduce operational costs and shorten the decision-making cycle from 25 days to just three days.
