Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University Launches First International Student Exchange Program

Riyadh: Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University today launched the first edition of its international student exchange program for summer 2026 in partnership with a number of international universities. The program aims to enhance international academic partnerships, develop students' leadership and personal skills, and provide study opportunities at globally renowned universities, helping broaden their cultural and academic horizons while preparing them for the labor market.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program includes 35 students from the colleges of dentistry, engineering, computer science and information technology, business administration, and architecture and planning. They will study at international universities in six countries: the United Kingdom, the United States, Sweden, Spain, Australia, and Norway during the summer semester of the 2026 academic year.

Participating universities and academic institutions include the University of Sheffield, the University of Glasgow, and Ulster University in the UK; the University of Salamanca in Spain; the University of Newcastle in Australia; the University of Rochester in the US; the University of Gothenburg in Sweden; and the University of Bergen in Norway, in addition to several other international universities and institutes. The program offers a range of research and applied training tracks lasting from two to eight weeks.
