Riyadh: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef participated today in the extraordinary joint meeting of the GCC Ministers of Trade and Industry. The meeting was held virtually under the chairmanship of Bahrain.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting discussed the implementation of the directives issued by the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) during their 19th Consultative Meeting in Jeddah. These directives are centered on strengthening Gulf economic integration and advancing cooperation in the trade and industrial sectors.

Participants at the meeting also reviewed the efforts undertaken by the Supreme Committee at the GCC General Secretariat. They discussed a future action plan to be implemented in coordination with member states. This plan aims to develop recommendations that enhance Gulf trade and industrial integration while supporting the resilience and integration of regional supply chains.
