Riyadh: Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz today visited the headquarters of the Spanish Civil Guard, accompanied by Spain's Minister of the Interior Fernando Grande-Marlaska G³mez.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, the minister was briefed on the latest technologies and equipment used by several security and specialized units of the Spanish Civil Guard. He also received an overview of their duties, operational procedures, and state of readiness and operational capabilities.

The minister was briefed on mechanisms for managing and coordinating security operations, as well as the advanced technologies used to support decision-making. He also viewed a presentation on security measures for sporting events and large public gatherings, as well as the operational and technical capabilities of the two centers.

The official delegation accompanying the minister attended the visit.
