Interior Ministry Apprehends Violators Transporting Pilgrims Without Permits

Makkah: The Ministry of Interior announced that Hajj security forces stationed at the entrances to Makkah apprehended six citizens and one expatriate for violating Hajj regulations by attempting to transport 10 pilgrims without permits.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the seasonal administrative committees issued enforcement actions, including prison sentences, public announcements, and fines up to SAR100,000 for the transporters, while the transported individuals faced fines up to SAR20,000 for attempting Hajj without a permit.

Furthermore, the involved expatriate will be deported and banned from re-entering the Kingdom for 10 years after serving the sentence, and the ministry is seeking the legal confiscation of the vehicles utilized in the violation.

The Ministry of Interior urged all citizens and residents to strictly adhere to and comply with established Hajj regulations and instructions.
