Interior Ministry Imposes SAR100,000 Fine for Unauthorized Hajj Visit Visas

Makkah: The Ministry of Interior has announced a penalty of up to SAR100,000 for individuals applying for visit visas for those attempting to perform Hajj without the required permits, or those entering or staying in Makkah and the holy sites without authorization. The fine will be increased based on the number of individuals involved in such visa violations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry emphasized the importance of adhering to the regulations set for the 1447 AH Hajj season. It called on all individuals to cooperate with relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of pilgrims, warning that any breach of these rules will lead to legal consequences.

The ministry also encouraged citizens to report any violations by contacting 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, or 999 in other parts of the Kingdom.
