This was achieved through a rapid remote intervention within the crucial 4.5-hour treatment window.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the patient was brought to the emergency department exhibiting severe right-sided weakness and loss of speech, alongside a medical history of hypertension and heart disease. The hospital immediately activated its rapid stroke response protocol. This protocol, coordinated with Seha Virtual Hospital, confirmed the presence of acute stroke symptoms that necessitated immediate medical intervention.
The medical team administered clot-dissolving medication within the golden treatment window, leading to significant improvement. The patient regained movement in her lower limbs, marking a successful outcome of the timely intervention.
