Doha:Qatari Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari met with Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) President Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser at the Ministry of Finance headquarters during the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) annual meetings.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused on expanding ties between the IsDB Group and Qatar, reviewing the implementation of their partnership strategy and agreed-upon programs. They also considered mobilizing resources through the IsDB's concessional financing fund to support the least developed member countries.

The meeting included exploration of cooperation avenues in areas such as response, recovery, reconstruction, and resilience-building. Al Jasser praised the strong partnership between Qatar and the IsDB Group, highlighting Qatar's significant contributions to development and humanitarian efforts both regionally and internationally.
