Doha:President of the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB), Dr. Muhammad Al-Jasser, is set to participate in the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Doha, Qatar, which will take place from September 27 to 28.

According to Saudi Press Agency, on September 28, Al-Jasser will join a high-level session titled "Scaling Up Climate Finance for Impact Turning Policy Reform into Resilient Growth." This session aims to gather finance ministers, leaders from multilateral development banks, and experts to explore ways to mobilize public and private capital to foster sustainable and resilient growth through policy reforms and development financing.

The symposium will focus on enhancing coordination among governments, development banks, and investors to convert climate commitments into investment-ready infrastructure projects, thereby achieving tangible development outcomes.

Additionally, Al-Jasser plans to meet with IsDB governors from member countries, the president of the AIIB, and representatives from major development partners. These meetings will focus on strengthening partnerships and advancing cooperation to support development priorities in IsDB member states.
