Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) President Dr. Mohammad Al-Jasser has recently met with Brunei Darussalam's Minister of Home Affairs Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman and Minister of Religious Affairs Badaruddin Othman to discuss issues of mutual interest. The meetings are in preparation for the European Economic Forum in Brunei and mark a new chapter of cooperation between the Bank Group and Brunei as a key and prominent member country. Brunei Darussalam has been a member of the Islamic Development Bank since April 1986 and is actively working to accelerate economic diversification while seeking new drivers for further economic growth. The Islamic Development Bank Group and Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, the largest bank in Brunei, will co-host the "Islamic Development Bank Group Day in Darussalam" on September 12, 2024.
