Independent politician Izzat Al-Shabandar confirmed that the game is over and the general budget is no longer a project for embarrassment and blackmail.
He said in a tweet on Twitter: The Iraqi street is waiting impatiently and closely monitoring the performance of parliament members and its presidency to end the black era that made the public budget a political tool to embarrass and blackmail the government every year.
He added: The game is over, and whoever tries to settle his scores in working to delay its launch will dig his grave with his own hands... Those who warned have been excused.
