The plants become more visible in homes, majlises, traditional gathering spaces, and family visits as part of the region's celebration traditions and holiday customs.

According to Saudi Press Agency, jasmine shops and aromatic-plant stalls across Jazan and its governorates witness brisk activity before and during Eid, with growing demand for jasmine garlands and aromatic-plant arrangements. The Eid holiday is also a season of intensified social gatherings, family occasions, and weddings commonly held across the region.

Jasmine remains a prominent feature of the celebrations, as many residents are keen to buy it, wear it, and present it during visits and while receiving guests. Other aromatic plants are also used to decorate majlises and enhance hospitality, reflecting the local community's connection to aromatic plants as part of the region's cultural and social identity.

During the wedding season coinciding with Eid Al-Adha, demand for jasmine increases significantly because of its strong association with social occasions and celebrations. It is used to adorn brides, worn by female relatives and wedding participants, and used to decorate majlises and receive guests.
