Jazan’s New Marine Walkways Enhance Coastal Tourism

Jazan:Waterfront marine walkways established by the Jazan Municipality are transforming the region's coastal tourism by offering pedestrian paths that extend from the shore directly into the Red Sea.

According to Saudi Press Agency, a prime highlight is the 600-meter Sunset Walkway, which features 55 seating areas, illuminated pedestrian tracks, play zones, public services, and retail kiosks supporting local families working in the cottage industry. The project provides panoramic marine views for observing aquatic life, watching sunsets, and outdoor recreation.

Municipality spokesperson Dr. Ibrahim Al-Khayyat stated that these developments optimize coastal topography into active public spaces, driving commercial investment in cafés and retail while advancing Saudi Vision 2030's Quality of Life objectives.
