Jeddah Municipality Enhances Public Facility Readiness for Summer Season 2026

Riyadh: The Jeddah Municipality continues its preparations for Saudi Summer 2026 by enhancing the readiness of public facilities, waterfronts, beaches, and parks. It is also intensifying operational and monitoring efforts to welcome residents and visitors during the summer.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these efforts include preparing more than 500 parks across the governorate, as well as five waterfronts and several beaches and designated swimming areas. This follows the completion of maintenance, cleaning, and infrastructure upgrades.

The municipality has strengthened the readiness of marine sites by deploying rescue and field supervision teams, ensuring compliance with safety measures at designated beaches and resorts to provide a safe environment for beachgoers.

The field plan includes intensifying cleaning and maintenance operations in high-traffic areas during the summer season, while continuously monitoring the readiness of parks, waterfronts, sports facilities, and public squares to ensure uninterrupted services for visitors.

The municipality also urged the public to follow maritime safety guidelines and report any violations through the Balady app or the Unified Reporting Center 940 to help maintain the quality of municipal services.
