Riyadh: The Jordanian government on Saturday condemned the Houthi militia's targeting of Riyadh with a ballistic missile, which was successfully intercepted and destroyed by the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces, as well as its attempts to target civilians and civilian facilities in Bish, Taif, Farasan, and Yanbu.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Jordan described the attacks as a flagrant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, a threat to its security, stability, and territorial integrity, and a breach of international law and the UN Charter. Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates spokesperson Ambassador Fuad Al-Majali affirmed Jordan's full solidarity with the Kingdom and its support for all measures it takes to safeguard its security, stability, national assets, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
