Justice Ministry Witnesses Legislative, Institutional and Digital Developments during Seven Years

The Ministry of Justice published the report "the Justice Sector during 7 Years of Vision", which addresses the most significant achievements of the justice system through the launch of many initiatives and projects within the Kingdom's Vision 2030, to achieve the directives of the wise leadership in caring for the judicial facility.

Since the launch of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, the Ministry has worked on initiatives aimed at transforming the institutional judiciary, raising the efficiency of work and achievement, achieving pioneering in digital transformation, engineering procedures, raising the level of satisfaction of beneficiaries of justice services, achieving social stability, and activating the reconciliation system.

During the past seven years, the Ministry has witnessed projects and initiatives that have enhanced the business environment and developed prospects for international cooperation. The achievements also included legal legislation, raising performance efficiency, and digital transformation that raised beneficiaries' quality of life. The Ministry provides about 150 e-services through the Najiz portal (najiz.sa), in addition to the completion of the specialized judiciary system by establishing commercial and labor courts, taking care of judicial reasoning, completing the activation of the appeal judiciary, and activating cassation before the Supreme Court.

The Ministry has also enacted several laws, including the commercial court by-law, and luanched the e-litigation service, and the virtual enforcement court, and involved the private sector in the Ministry's work, such as by launching the electronic auction platform and the nafith portal.

As of 2018, the Ministry has achieved several successes in the documentation sector by digitizing the process and has enabled obtaining power of attorney services electronically, without the need to visit a notary or use paper.
