KFSH Secures Gold Stevie Award for HR Excellence

Riyadh: King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSH) has been recognized with the Gold Stevie Award for Human Resources Department of the Year at the 2026 International Business Awards, alongside two Bronze Stevie Awards. According to Saudi Press Agency, the accolades included a Gold award for KFSH's human capital transformation, a Bronze for its innovative recruitment and onboarding strategy, which facilitated the integration of 1,136 employees with a 96% satisfaction rate, and another Bronze for the Most Innovative Human Resources Initiative. This initiative featured a model that connects employee and leadership performance with team results and broader institutional performance. Majid Almegil, Chief People Officer at KFSH, highlighted the significance of human capital, stating that an organization's ability to execute its strategic priorities is contingent upon its talent, capabilities, and leadership. He emphasized the importance of aligning human capability with strategic priorities to e nhance organizational performance and sustainability. These awards underscore KFSH's commitment to investing in human capital functions, which focus on capability building, leadership development, work environment enhancement, and aligning human capital practices with clinical and research goals to bolster institutional performance and drive long-term growth. The Stevie Awards, established in 2002, are renowned for recognizing the achievements and positive contributions of organizations globally. Winners are determined by judging panels comprising executives, entrepreneurs, innovators, and academics from around the world, who evaluate entries based on organizational practices and outcomes. KFSH has achieved notable rankings, being placed first in the Middle East and Africa and 12th globally among the world's top 250 academic medical centers for 2026. It was also acknowledged as the most valuable healthcare brand in the Kingdom and the Middle East for 2026 by Brand Finance, and listed by Newsweek among the World's Best Hospitals, World's Best Smart Hospitals, and World's Best Specialized Hospitals for 2026.
