The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded a volunteer medical project today for open-heart surgery and catheterization for adults in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan. The project ran from October 12 to 19. Since the campaign began, the center's medical team successfully performed 62 cardiac catheterizations and 23 open-heart surgeries. This initiative is part of the ongoing volunteer medical projects for heart surgeries provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, aimed at alleviating the suffering of needy and affected people worldwide.
