Hatay: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully implemented its voluntary 'Saudi Hearing' project, focusing on cochlear implants and auditory rehabilitation in the Turkish cities of Samandag and Defne, located in Hatay Province. This initiative saw the participation of numerous volunteers from various medical specialties, all working together to provide essential services to those in need.
According to Saudi Press Agency, since the project's launch, KSrelief's volunteer medical team has delivered a comprehensive suite of auditory rehabilitation services. These services include conducting hearing assessments, offering earmold measurement services, programming hearing aids, and distributing these aids to 101 beneficiaries, ensuring that each receives the proper care and support.
This project forms part of the broader voluntary medical initiatives spearheaded by the Kingdom through KSrelief, its humanitarian arm. These initiatives are designed to extend assistance to individuals and nations in need and to support those impacted by various challenges across the globe.
