Tabuk Inspects Livestock Markets, Slaughterhouses Ahead of Eid Al-Adha

Tabuk: The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture branch in Tabuk Region carried out field inspection visits to various livestock markets and slaughterhouses as part of early preparations for Eid Al-Adha. The inspections aimed to assess the readiness of facilities and services while strengthening health and regulatory oversight to ensure operational efficiency and public safety.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry branch stated that operations are being conducted under an integrated operational plan designed to enhance facility preparedness and intensify field monitoring of slaughterhouses and markets in line with the highest health and safety standards. The branch added that the region's service network includes three slaughterhouses in Tabuk city and seven others across the region's governorates, boosting operational capacity to meet residents' needs. Tabuk city also hosts 632 livestock pens and fodder storage facilities.
