KSrelief Launches Volunteer Medical Project for Open-Heart Surgery and Catheterization for Adults in Uzbekistan

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched a volunteer medical project for open-heart surgery and catheterization for adults in the city of Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, on Monday. The project will take place from October 12 to 19, 2024, and will be attended by the Saudi Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Yousef bin Saleh Al-Gahrah.

Since the campaign started, the medical team from KSrelief has successfully performed two open-heart surgeries.

This initiative is part of the ongoing volunteer medical projects for heart surgeries provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief. The aim is to alleviate the suffering of needy and affected people and countries worldwide.
