KSrelief’s Masam Project Helps Clear 630 Mines in a Week in Yemen

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief) Masam Project, dedicated to clearing mines in Yemen, dismantled 630 mines in various regions during the second week of October 2024. These included three anti-personnel mines, 28 anti-tank mines, one explosive device, and 598 unexploded ordnance. Since the project’s inception, a total of 465,882 mines have been cleared.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia remains steadfast in its commitment to removing all mines from Yemeni lands, a menace that has tragically caused the loss of lives and injuries to innocent people.
