Madinah:The General Administration of Education in Madinah Region has announced the commencement of registration for the KAUST Mathematics Competition. This event is organized by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) with the aim of developing higher-order thinking skills and identifying mathematically talented students.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the competition invites participation from Saudi citizens and residents who are enrolled in public, private, and international schools. It features three distinct tracks for students in grades six and seven, grades eight and nine, and grades 10 and 11.

The deadline for registration is set for December 12, 2026, after which test centers will be announced. The competition's first stage will be a qualifying round, consisting of an in-person written test scheduled for January 23, 2027. The finals are set to take place from April 2 to April 4, 2027, at KAUST.
