Makkah: The Makkah guidance center for buses transporting overseas pilgrims announced the success of operational plans during this Hajj season, during which it received and directed more than 41,000 pilgrim buses.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the guidance efforts were carried out through a streamlined and integrated system managing transport flow and ensuring pilgrims are delivered to accommodation sites in Makkah. Director General of the center Abdullah Sindi stated that guidance operations were conducted by trained staff equipped with smart tablets using precise geographic mapping systems.

The systems enable real-time tracking of bus routes from arrival at Makkah entry points until reaching pilgrims' accommodation sites. The smart system is designed to ensure speed and accuracy within an integrated service framework launched early by the center to serve pilgrims.
