Makkah: Makkah Region Deputy Governor and Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah Vice Chairman Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz affirmed that Saudi Arabia remains dedicated to its deeply rooted mission of serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors under the leadership directives.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in an address delivered at Arafat on behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Saud welcomed the pilgrims, noting that the Day of Arafah embodies the core Islamic values of unity and equality as congregations perform the peak pillar of Hajj in peace and security.
Prince Saud stated that the Kingdom has mobilized all national resources, advanced modern technologies, and infrastructural development projects to facilitate a smooth, comfortable spiritual journey for the pilgrims.
He commended the pilgrims for their high level of cooperation and adherence to crowd control regulations, urging continued discipline through the remaining rituals. Concluding his speech, Prince Saud praised the multi-sectoral field teams working across the holy sites and prayed for the safe return of all pilgrims to their respective homelands.
