Minister of Finance Taif Sami stressed the importance of partnership with the United States to achieve sustainable development in Iraq.

A statement from the Finance Minister’s office stated: “The Minister received the US Ambassador to Baghdad, Alina Romanowski, and discussed with her the Development Road project, which is one of the largest strategic projects to link Iraq to Europe.”

The US Ambassador affirmed the United States’ commitment to continue supporting Iraq in several fields.
