More Than 19 Inspection Teams Conduct Date Inspections at Buraidah Dates Carnival

Buraidah: The Qassim branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture is intensifying its field and inspection efforts to assess and monitor the quality of dates arriving at the Buraidah International Dates Carnival.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the fieldwork is being carried out by more than 19 inspection teams operating on morning and evening shifts. Director of the ministry's branch in Buraidah, Badr Al-Harbi, explained that field teams are working around the clock to ensure the safety of dates on display and their compliance with approved specifications and standards.

The teams are also collecting random samples to test for pesticide residues and verify adherence to the highest standards of quality and food safety, thereby supporting farmers, traders, and visitors throughout the carnival.
