Makkah: The National Water Company (NWC) is conducting more than 4,000 laboratory tests daily during the 1447 AH Hajj season to ensure the quality of water provided to pilgrims in Makkah and the holy sites as part of an integrated operational system functioning around the clock to verify compliance with approved drinking water standards and specifications.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the company's central laboratory in Makkah, along with fixed and mobile laboratories equipped with the latest international technologies, conducts continuous and precise testing and analysis of field samples collected from main water sources and distribution points throughout the holy sites to ensure water safety and quality during the Hajj season.
Specialized field teams collect samples 24 hours a day, while qualified technical personnel conduct all required laboratory analyses to verify water quality and ensure compliance with health and technical requirements, as part of efforts to provide safe and reliable water services to pilgrims.
The company has intensified its operational activities during the Hajj season to enhance the efficiency of the water system and strengthen field and technical readiness, in line with the rising demand. These efforts reflect the company's commitment to providing high-quality services to pilgrims and supporting integrated efforts to serve pilgrims in accordance with the highest operational standards.
