Makkah: The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture branch in Makkah Region recorded more than 17,569 beneficiaries of services provided through Makkah slaughterhouses during the period from Dhu Al-Hijjah 1 to 7, 1447 AH.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the services were delivered through an integrated operational system designed to enhance the efficiency of health and regulatory services for citizens, residents, and companies during the Hajj season. The branch indicated that the services included veterinary inspections, health monitoring, and supervision of slaughter operations in accordance with approved requirements, thereby protecting public health and ensuring the safety and quality of meat.
The measures also covered the organization of reception and operational processes inside the slaughterhouses to ensure smooth workflows and raise beneficiary satisfaction.
