Rabat:King Mohammed VI of Morocco, representing himself and the Moroccan people, has condemned the attacks executed by the Houthi militias against Saudi Arabia. These attacks targeted civilian and economic facilities, vital installations, as well as cities and residential areas.

According to Saudi Press Agency, King Mohammed VI expressed further condemnation, emphasizing the seriousness of the attacks due to their attempts to target the holy sites of Makkah and Madinah, revered in the Muslim world.

In messages to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Moroccan king expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia, citing shared bonds of faith, history, and destiny. He underscored the need for unity in defending truth, sovereignty, security, and sacred Muslim sites.

King Mohammed VI described the attacks as not only assaults on Saudi Arabia but as violations against the sentiments of 1.8 billion Muslims worldwide. He attributed full responsibility to the Houthi militias and their supporters, calling for accountability under international law.

He reiterated Morocco€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¾¢s unwavering support for Saudi Arabia, stressing that any attack on Saudi Arabia is an attack on Morocco. The king highlighted the importance of defending the security and stability of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, which is crucial to Morocco's own security.

The king also highlighted the risks posed by terrorist and separatist militias, supported by regional powers, to regional and international security. He warned of threats to maritime routes vital to global economic stability.

King Mohammed VI concluded by stating that these attacks are a violation of international law and UN resolutions, particularly Resolution 2216 (2015) and Resolution 2722 (2024), and called for accountability to prevent future violations.
