Independent MP Jawad Al-Yasari set the deadline for voting on the state budget for three years.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: The Parliamentary Finance Committee finished voting on the budget yesterday, with several articles remaining that will be completed during the current week.

He added: The political blocs are determined to end this file and pass the budget during one of the sessions next week, because of its utmost importance to the country's conditions in general.

Yesterday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee began voting on the articles of the federal state budget, with some of them postponed, hoping to reach a solution to it during the current week, and submit it to a full vote during next week’s sessions.
