Muhayil Aseer Hospital Receives Baby-Friendly Accreditation

Muhayil: Muhayil Aseer General Hospital has received the international Baby-Friendly Hospital accreditation certificate after successfully completing the assessment process, marking an achievement in maternal and child healthcare.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Aseer Health Cluster said the accreditation followed the hospital's implementation of all initiative standards approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF for the period from 1447 AH/2026 to 1450 AH/2029. The standards focus on three main areas: implementing the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative standards, promoting and supporting breastfeeding, and providing comprehensive healthcare for mothers and children.

The achievement reaffirms the cluster's commitment to enhancing the quality of medical services and providing a safe healthcare environment that supports breastfeeding practices and promotes the health of future generations from the moment of birth.
