Municipalities Ministry Monitors Barbershops in Holy Sites on Eid Al-Adha

Mecca: The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, represented by the Holy Makkah Municipality, continued its operational and oversight plans in the holy sites on Eid Al-Adha, intensifying field monitoring of authorized barbershop sites as part of its integrated municipal services for pilgrims during the 1447 AH Hajj season. The initiative aimed to ensure that pilgrims have access to necessary services while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

According to Saudi Press Agency, inspection rounds focused on verifying workers' compliance with health requirements, including the use of sterilized tools and single-use materials. These measures were implemented to maintain cleanliness and environmental sanitation inside and around the barbershop sites, thereby ensuring a healthy and safe environment for pilgrims.

The ministry emphasized that oversight operations would continue throughout the Days of Tashreeq. This ongoing effort is part of a broader strategy to enhance the quality of municipal services, enabling pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and tranquility. The ministry's commitment underlines its role in facilitating a smooth and safe Hajj experience for all participants.
